You can boost overall process productivity

With LINK® Process Analysis we can help you to safely minimize variation and maximize productivity through a three-step process.

Measure
First, we implement our proven system to collect process and product data required to analyze and optimize your process. The data is collected in a single database, enabling the relational analysis needed to understand how changes to equipment settings affect the processed product.
We make data searchable by time, product code and lot number. This gives you detailed process traceability, so you can establish why a product was outside specification. It also helps you to limit the volume of a potential recall.

Optimize
The second step is to optimize your process using data collected by the system.
The analysis involves statistical methods and the work is led by food scientists from our Food Technology Centers. The result is new recipes with redefined set points and limits for optimal throughput, yield and product quality.

Control
In the third step, we deploy process control tools to ensure optimal processing, with minimal variation over time.
To ensure that your new optimized process stays in control after implementation and operator training, we apply Statistical Process Control (SPC), and ‘loop’ critical process information and alarms back to operators and supervisors in real-time. Simple-to-read graphical dashboards enable operators to keep process variables within defined limits. SPC can extrapolate trends and signal a warning well before variables get out of control.
In addition to this, LINK Process Analysis answers critical process traceability requirements by providing historical process information that is searchable by either lot number, product code or time.
