FMC FoodTech Provides LINK® Process Analysis Solutions

Improved Module Offers Increased Adaptability and Information Integration

The LINK Process Analysis module is a data collection, storage and analysis solution that helps processors improve yield, throughput and productivity while ensuring traceability and food safety.

LINK Process Analysis is a secure and robust solution which allows processors to capture relevant process and product data in electronic format and store it in one central location. It offers real-time, relational and historical reporting so processors can monitor and react immediately to process and product conditions, investigate, analyze and find hidden data relationships, and benchmark production results from different time periods or batches.

“Since introducing the LINK system, the feedback has been very positive and the customer demand for the system has been overwhelming,” said Clements. “LINK processes data from entry point to execution, enabling companies to improve work flow by increasing yield, throughput and productivity, and ensuring traceability without sacrificing food safety.”

The report generator function can analyze critical data points in process lines, identify the causes of inconsistencies and problems, as well as track and control product and process parameters. Predefined queries and reports are included, and LINK Process Analysis can incorporate information that draws on any combination of parameters – time periods (personnel shifts), lines, product codes, lot numbers, recipes and operators, to name a few.

LINK HMI will be on display at FMC FoodTech’s booth, located in Hall C, booth #2252. Additionally, these solutions are deployed in FMC FoodTech’s Food Processing Technology Center (FPTC) in Sandusky, Ohio, where processors can test their product in real-life conditions and observe the features and benefits of LINK firsthand.
