Heat Exchangers
Tubular Heat Exchangers are available in various configurations including product hold and process controls to assure critical temperatures and hold times are satisfied.
They follow a similar construction format with a single tube or a number of smaller tubes enclosed within an outer shell.
There is no universal heat exchanger.
The selection of the type and dimension must take into account the product’s characteristics and the process parameters. A good dimensioning ensures the appropriate mixing of the product being processed, with subsequent uniform temperature distribution and uniform treatment throughout the product.
The exchange media are hot water, cold water and glycol.
