Margarine and butter

Butter is a dairy product obtained by churning fresh cream or milk. Churning is the process of shaking whole milk.

Butter is used as a spread, condiment or for cooking. Margarine is a butter substitute made by extracting the fat from vegetable oil and with added salt.
