Milk powder

Milk powder is made from dehydrated milk solids. It has the advantage of having a longer shelf life because of its low water content and doesn't need to be refrigerated.

Milk powder was used in developing countries where it was prefered over normal milk due to its low transport and storage costs. Milk powder is typically made by spray drying nonfat skim milk.
